Healed
Hope has had a much better day. God has been working and things are starting to move through. She has had a couple small poos, so it's starting. We are believing God has fixed this and we even took the car seat down so that she's ready to go when they say the word. Things are going to start moving fast. There has been much wrestling with God and trying to grasp how things work, but I don't have the energy to go into all of that right now. I will post about it soon. But thank the Lord with us that our big 6 lb 3 oz baby is doing better. Please continue to pray with us that she improves and everyone knows that God has done it.

Darling pictures! And we are so relieved that she is doing better. We were pretty worried yesterday. She's a tough little cookie and God is good.

Oh, praise the Lord! I was so worried yesterday in church when they told us she wasn't doing well! God has answered our prayers and we will continue praying!
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord! I put little Hope and your family on the prayer lists in two of our Sunday School classes at church yesterday. I'm so glad to hear that she is doing better. Home for Thanksgiving... Yeah! I know all of you will be so happy and relieved when that homecoming day arrives.

ReplyDeleteHi~ We have a mutual friend, Erin, and she told me about your sweet daughter. I have a son named Seth who was in the NICU for 8 months after delivery. He had recurrent NEC (necrotizing enterocolitis) He is 4 years old now and completely recovered and healthy. He ended up losing half of his colon. I read some of your blog with so many memories coming flooding back. Seth started out at Children's in Seattle and later was transferred to Sacred Heart. If you ever want to chat or need help with anything, please feel free to contact me. Erin knows how to reach me. I am praying for you and Hope and your other children as you get through this. I remember wanting to be able to clone myself so I could care for Seth at the hospital and the others at home all at the same time. God Bless you!! He will never forsake you and is holding you and Hope ever so close through all of this. Take Care, Diane Hathaway
